Bring on autumn and pull out the lederhosen! One of Downtown Fort Pierce, FL’s most popular celebrations of fall and all things Bavarian — Oktoberfest on 2nd Street in Downtown Fort Pierce hosted by Sailfish Brewing Company and 2nd Street Bistro — returns for its fourth year of seasonal revelry.
Among the festival excitement is the 2nd Street Stage featuring live music from popular local bands throughout the day, the Axe Trailer from Axe EM, Oktoberfest games with Downtown prizes, “Kinderfest” with a bounce house, kids games and other activities for youngsters and families, and a Vendor Village featuring local artists and craftspeople.
The String Assassins 2:30-4:30 pm – We’re kicking the party off with local favorites’ The String Assassins! The String Assassins band is an acoustic power jam band that melds rock, punk and bluegrass influences into an energetic, fast-paced performance that has to be seen and heard to believe.
The Copper Tones 5:30-7:30 pm – Hailing from South Florida, The Copper Tones bring sunshine wherever they go. Roots music with a favorable twist of Soul, Rock, Americana and more, they’ve coined their genre as “Soulgrass.” This group of talented and diverse multi-instrumentalists give a performance not to be missed!
