About Dr. Leigh Foley:
Dr. Leigh Foley was born in northern Florida. As a girl, Leigh was enamored with books and read anything she could get her hands on. She also had an amazing high school English teacher who inspired her students to read and appreciate stories from different cultures and times. Mrs. Fabrizio, if you’re reading this, know that you’re the best!
After high school, Leigh joined the United States Marine Corps. Afterwards, she earned her bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD in criminal justice, with a focus on victimology and social media. She was a first generation college student who started at her local state college, and went from there.
Since 2016, Leigh has been a tour wife. When her musician husband travels the world, she works, keeps the kids and pets alive, and manages the household. She was inspired to write Tour Wives because society rarely hears about the music industry from the partner’s perspective.
Leigh lives on Florida’s Treasure Coast with her 3-time Grammy-nominated drummer husband, her two children, and their five fur babies.
